Make the Entry

A few days ago when it became known to us that we were going to be taking the Love Dare corporately, Nathan brought home the book. Surprised that he had the book, I asked where he had gotten it. Sheepishly, he explained that he had actually started the Love Dare last summer, but didn't finish it. Today, as I sat down to read day one, I realized he had made it halfway through the book and posted a journal entry each day. Tears came to my eyes, along with some laughs, as I was reading and actually remembered each of the posts. The funny thing is that at the time, I just thought he was being extra "nice" because I was pregnant and miserable! hehe It was so sweet to read every action from his perspective and his thoughts behind it. So, I say all that to encourage you to take advantage of the journaling portion. Save it for a rough day or a "just because" day and I strongly believe that you will take great delight in reflecting on perhaps the most rewarding DARE you've ever taken!!

Start The Dare

Hey everyone... Steve and Lisa here. We are so excited that you have decided to take this journey with us. Don't forget...if you skip a day, don't get discouraged! Just pick back up and start where you left off. This is a 40 day stretch, not a quick sprint! We'll be meeting half way through to discuss, get some pointers, or just have some more fun talking about the dare.

Please take these next 40 or so days very seriously. Use this time to let the Lord bless your marriage. Let Him show you how to be the best mate you possibly can. He is Love, so who better to learn from than Him!

We are going to "Officially" start on Monday the 15th ... so if you don't have a book yet, get one! It's called "The Love Dare" and is the 40 day journey with room inside for journaling... Why are you taking "The Dare"?
